Sigma Lambda Gamma believes that Culture is Pride, Pride is Success. We explore the richness in the traditions of Latina culture. This encompasses the cultural heritages of Native Americans (North, Central and South), Europeans, Africans, Asians and their multiple and interesting mixtures. We celebrate the diversity of the backgrounds of all the members of our sorority. Through these efforts in cultural awareness, we expect that each woman will explore their roots and traditions and share those with other individuals so that cultural understanding and respect are promoted. We hope to create new traditions for future generations of women to celebrate their identity and heritage with pride and joy throughout the college years.

Congratulations to our Fall 2011 Graduates!

Fall 2011 Special Presentation

Picture

In the final days of the fall 2011 semester, the eXquisite Xi Alpha Chapter of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority Inc. held their sixth special presentation to introduce to the Greek World the next generation of Sigma Lambda Gamma Women: Phi Line. These outstanding young women exemplify what it means to have the strength of a panther and the beauty of a rose; with their combination of beauty, uniqueness, sophistication, and intelligence, it only seems fitting that these women would earn the title “Las elegantes" . The Fall 2011 New Member Educator Priscilla “Saphira” De Ann Davis and Associate New Member Educator Amanda “La Dama” Pena worked hard to bring these nine exceptional women into Gammaland.

Preparation for the upcoming special presentation of Phi Line was headed by the Special Presentation Coordinator Stephanie "Divina" Klem; it was through the commitment of Phi Line and the collaboration between Stephanie "Divina" Klem, Priscilla “Saphira” De Ann Davis and Amanda “La Dama” Pena, that the eXquisite Xi Alpha Chapter of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority Inc. has been able to present to the world the sophisticated and persistent Fall 2011 Phi Line!
